Useful Questions - Satisfying Answers

"And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32

I have found that certain questions and answers can be great tools for restoring clarity and calm to my troubled mind. When I find myself confused or lacking clarity, I go back to a simple list of questions and answers. In a matter of minutes clarity and calm can return.

Here are a few questions and satisfying answers that clear and calm my mind.

What is the Christian life? It is a perfect person named Jesus.

Where is the Christian life? The Christian life is in me right now.

How much of the Christian life do I have? I have all of it because Jesus is all of the Christian life ever was or ever will be.

How much of the Christian life do other Christians have? The same amount and quality of Christian life I have. We are one in Christ.

Why is the Christian life in me? So I can be like Jesus.

What does it mean to be like Jesus? It means being a person who can deliver divine love 24/7 and moment by moment like Jesus did.

What is sin? Sin is whatever stops the continuous delivery of God’s love.

What happens when I sin? Someone who needs God’s love goes without that love. I am in debt to God and to the person who did not receive that love.

What stops sin? Only receiving perfect, continuous love can stop sin.

Where does this perfect, continuous love come from? It comes only from God to me through Christ who died for me and abides in me.

Can I experience this perfect, continuous love now? Yes. I can abide in Jesus the true Vine and know sinless love right now.

I never cease to be amazed at how these simple questions and answers can calm my troubled mind. When I begin in Jesus and end in Jesus my inner world becomes calm and clear no matter how my outer world is at the moment.

The truth really does set one free when we abide in Jesus. Ask and you will receive the satisfying answers.
